Our story began in Vermont when attending school at the University of Vermont. We were both on the crew team, but never in the same boat. Little did we know that we would soon be in the same boat…the life boat.

Anyways, the stars aligned one fateful night when we found ourselves attending the same party at the local watering hole. Pleasantries were exchanged, drinks were had. Soon we were going home for winter break and came to the realization that we both live in the midwest, and that we would be meeting each other’s parents after dating for 2 weeks. When you know, you know.

Fast-forward 7 years and we are living in Chicago with our adorable dog Poppy. We’ve built a life together consisting of love, respect, ALL of the laughter, and teamwork.

Why Vermont? We couldn’t think of a better place to bring our families and friends from around the world together to share in a day full of laughter, memories, dancing, fun, and love. Our relationship wouldn’t be what it is without all of you, and we can’t wait to celebrate and share one of our favorite places with you.
