How to Get Here

Since very few (none) of our guests live in Woodstock Vermont, we've provided detailed travel information below. It means so much to us that you are traveling from near and far to spend the weekend with us. Please feel free to reach out to us with any specific travel questions.

  • DRIVE - Woodstock is a 2.5 hour drive from downtown Boston. Take I-93 North to Concord, NH, then take I-89 North. Take exit 1 once you cross the border into Vermont and follow US-4 until you hit the town of Woodstock.

COACH BUS - The Dartmouth Coach leaves quite often from South Station in Boston (also from Logan Airport). It’s a very nice coach bus with wifi, snacks and a bathroom on board. Price is $35 one-way. Buy tickets to Lebanon, New Hampshire online or at South Station; seats are not reserved. Once you arrive at the terminal in Lebanon, you can take a ~30-min. Uber or cab to Woodstock. Note: you would need to schedule a car service to drive back to the bus terminal on Sunday since Woodstock does not have Uber.

FLY TO LEBANON, NEW HAMPSHIRE - Cape Air offers daily flights to and from Boston to Lebanon, New Hampshire. Once you land in Lebanon, you can take a ~30-min. Uber or cab to Woodstock. Note: you would need to schedule a car service to drive back to the airport on Sunday since Woodstock does not have Uber.

  • DRIVE - Woodstock is a 4.5 hour drive from downtown New York. Take I-95 North to New Haven, CT then I-91 North to Vermont. Take the exit for VT-12 North and then US-4 West until you hit the town of Woodstock. Alternatively, take I-87 North through Albany, then take US-7 North to VT-100 North to US-4 East until you hit Woodstock.

COACH BUS - The Dartmouth Coach also leaves from 42nd and 3rd ave near Grand Central, though only offers a few times per day. Again it’s a very nice coach bus with wifi, snacks and a bathroom on board. Price is $75 one-way. The New York line has reserved seating, so you must buy tickets relatively far in advance (it does get sold out). Buy tickets online to Lebanon, New Hampshire and print them out at home. Once you arrive at the terminal in Lebanon, you can take a ~30-min. Uber or cab to Woodstock. Note: you would need to schedule a car service to drive back to the bus terminal on Sunday since Woodstock does not have Uber.

FLY TO LEBANON, NEW HAMPSHIRE - Cape Air offers daily flights to and from White Plains, New York to Lebanon, New Hampshire. Service in White Plains includes ground transportation to in-town Manhattan at no extra charge; picks up at 34th and 8th near Madison Square Garden. Once you land in Lebanon, you can take a ~30-min. Uber or cab to Woodstock. Note: you would need to schedule a car service to drive back to the airport on Sunday since Woodstock does not have Uber.

  • DRIVE - Burlington is a 1.5 hr drive to Woodstock; renting a car at the airport is the best option. Take I-89 South to VT-107 West, then VT-12 South until you hit the town of Woodstock.

  • FLY TO BOSTON LOGAN, MASSACHUSETTS - Boston Logan is the most accessible airport for those flying across the country or internationally. It’s a (very pretty!) 2.5 hr drive to Woodstock from the airport. Renting a car at the airport is the easiest option. Alternatively, the Dartmouth Coach bus picks up at every terminal; tickets can be bought online or onboard for $35 one-way.

FLY TO BURLINGTON, VERMONT - Burlington is slightly closer to Woodstock than Boston Logan airport, but is a smaller airport and therefore more difficult to find flights into. It is worth checking out for regional flights, or for connecting flights. Once you land in Burlington, it is a 1.5 hr drive to Woodstock; renting a car at the airport is the best option. Take I-89 South to VT-107 West, then VT-12 South until you hit the town of Woodstock.

CONNECT TO LEBANON, NEW HAMPSHIRE - Lebanon Airport is a nearby regional airport serviced by Cape Air. If flying into Boston Logan, you may be able to find a connecting flight to Lebanon. Once you land in Lebanon, you can take a ~30-min. Uber or cab to Woodstock. Note: you would need to schedule a car service to drive back to the airport on Sunday since Woodstock does not have Uber.

FLY TO NEW YORK - With three international airports - Newark Liberty, La Guardia, and JFK - New York is an easy destination for international flights. We recommend renting a car at the airport to make the 4.5 hour drive to Woodstock. Follow directions in the “From NYC” section above.
